Hey Bungalow Bill

Yesterday I finally saw Katie after a few months of doing our own thing. We went to Don Cuco's for dinner (FUCKING delicious) then back to their place to watch Big Man Japan and hang until we called it a night.
Today my day will consist of getting last minute camping stuff, loading the car, getting excited, and getting more excited because I'm going camping for the first time! This is what our camping ground will look like:

Jalama Beach.
Although technically the summer is already over, this is my perfect way of ending the summer. Since I spent most of my summer at the beach, might as well end it by sleeping on the beach for 3 nights right?

Deoxyribonucleic acid

So I was looking at Megapuss merch and saw that a company named DNA Merch is the one that puts out their stuff. So I decide to Google "DNA Merch" because they might have Devendra merch, right? So I click the first thing that says DNA merch and this is what it shows me:

DNA earings.

DNA cube.

Self-explanatory.

DNA Dog chewy toys!

DNA money clip!

If we're fucked up you're to blame

Weezer was too fucking dope for this english language to ever explain. Tj rolled me and Ash a Weezer joint. I love them, and they played the best set. They played Hash Pipe first and Rivers' mic was not working... throughout the entire song, but they still managed to outshine the head liners!
Blink was totally great though. And as they sang "let's make this last forever and ever and ever, let's make this last forever" I wished that it really could. They introduced "Stay Together for the Kids" by saying that the song was about them, and that really made my insides happy. Travis played his drums upside down in the sky, it was so rad. They closed with Damnit of course. It was definitely a wonderful night.

Ch ch changes

Yesterday I woke up from a crazy dream about me killing some girl. I told Katrina and the first thing she said was "again?". Why do I always dream about killing people? I should look it up.
Kelli called around 10, so I got ready, she picked me up, and we went on a mission to get Mrs. Green and some Taco Bell. Mission Complete. It was a very good morning. After Kelli left for school I got into cleaning mode. After that I decided that I would go crazy if I stayed inside with the weather so nice out. (Oh yea, I forgot to mention that the weather was AMAZING yesterday, it didn't rain but I was happy it wasn't humid and sunny outside like this whole summer has been.) I walked around the Goodwill to pass some time. Kelli came over after school and we watched The Doors movie. Hanna came over right when the movie ended so we went to the grocery store to buy some grub. Tj, Rog, and Steph came over and we all watched The Devil's Rejects as I tried the hardest I could to stay awake. I have a feeling Rob Zombie is going to be one of those people that will never be forgotten.
Right now I am listening to David Bowie and eating some delicious tater tots. Potatoes are the best food ever.

Mickey is the Anti-Christ?

Fuck the corporate world but it is wonderful that The Beatles rock band is the biggest thing coming out right now because I get to enjoy my favorite tunes all day long at work :) AND a cover band is playing out front tomorrow night, what a great way to end the summer. With 4 middle-aged, awkward mop top, (hopefully beer bellies) men singing songs about Sgt. Pepper.

I just finished watching a movie, this is what it looked like

It was fantastic. I wasn't sure what to expect from the cover, but uhh, yea it's pretty groovy. You should watch it. It speaks truth.
Also, I am on disk 3 of I Am America. Chapter 12.... I don't know exactly but we're done with the sex talk. Stephen Colbert, you have won my respect. That man is fucking hilarious.

Buy American made :)

Modern olympics should be more like war

My morning consists of the image above, a cannabis cigarette, and a cup of tea.
Happy Labor Day?

Can you wait?

09.09.09

I just got home from work and turned my laptop on to let everyone know that the Beatles rock band that is coming out next week is tooootally legit! We got it at work today and I HAD to play. I felt like I was on acid.

Definitely 5 stars.

Marvelous

Oh yea, check this out:

This guy is called Nepenthes attenboroughii and, get this, he is a carnivore!
Isn't that so badass? He has this nectar around the red rim part which attracts insects and little rats and mice, and in the inside of that pot he has there is this poison that stuns the animals and they fall in. Then the acids and enzymes help break apart whatever falls in there.
Crazy @_@

I'd like to dance with you

So I recently concluded that I am not a club-going person. I always thought this was the case but I also second guessed it because I thought if booze was added to the equation then the outcome would be completely different. The outcome is not completely different, it's not even a little different. Marissa and I went to El Cid last week and it was the weirdest experience of my life. To further examine this, we hung out with the same people at a quieter different location the next night. I had a complete blast hanging out playing moose and sitting around with good people. I was a lot more talkative and had more smiles on my face.
Whoever says that staying in is not fun is wrong.

New Times

There has been so much on my mind lately I have stopped talking because my brain can't shut up! I'm in a situation in life where I can do just about anything I want without anything holding me back (aside from fear). I have been thinking about Mexico soo much lately that the more it's in my mind the more I can't see myself not living there in the near future. I have family there so that is no problem, it's just finding the perfect place there. Zacatecas is the city where my mother is from and this is what it looks like:

My grandfather owns a ranch there full of beautiful animals and acres of land where he grows a lot of food. Money is not a problem. I love it there.

Guadalajara is the city where my father is from and this is what it looks like:

I wish I had actual pictures of my grandfathers house to post, but they're all at my parents house.... I'm leaning towards Guadalajara more but I would loooove to live on a ranch and tend to animals and ride a donkey up the road. Well I still have a few months to think about it i guess.

There is too much going on inside my brain right now
