What if you could effect reality with the power of pretend?

Bang Bang

I watched the Brothers Bloom this morning and I say you should make time to watch it too. I was curious to watch it when I read an article about it about a year ago, but once it came out to theaters I lost interest. Then a couple of my friends told me that my long lost Asian twin was in the movie, meet Bang Bang:

I don't know what about me they saw in her but it's definitely a compliment because I've never seen anyone as badass as her.

I had forgotten what it felt like to be heart-broken until... yet again.
In my apartment I painted some stuff on the walls and originally planned on just painting over them when it came time to part. Well it's time to part but we learned that I could just use acetone to take the acrylic paint that I used off. I was definitely not ready for this. Sitting there erasing my babies. Whoa. I left the tree to do last, might as well do something totally awesome to it before I erase it right? I will post pictures of that later.

For now, this is for you

sincerly, me

New Jersey

Some stuff for your eyes and ears.

Keep The River To Your Right: A Modern Cannibal Tale.

You should definitely make time to watch this film. It takes Tobias Schneebaum back to the Peruvian Amazon where he decided to live and was adopted into a Cannibal tribe in the year 1955. The people you see in this film are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I have a new goal in life: to visit the ruins in Peru.

Also, Pageant.

Ok, who doesn't love drag? This film follows 5 men running for Miss Gay America. These pageants are all about illusion, so enhancements like hormones are forbidden. It's 94 minutes of complete awesomeness, here are a few pictures:

I want to go next year.

One

Hemp can be made into any building material, including fiberboard, roofing, flooring, wallboard, caulking, cement, paint, paneling, particleboard, plaster, plywood, reinforced concrete, insulation, insulation panels, spray-on insulation, concrete pipes, bricks, and biodegradable plastic composites which are tougher than steel.

Hemp foundation walls are 7 times stronger than concrete foundations, half as light, and three times as elastic, which means that these building will bend, but not break. Because of their superior strength and flexibility, hemp foundations are resistant to stress-induced cracking and breaking. Even earthquakes and other natural disaster cannot break or crack these structures. Hemp foundation homes and buildings are self-insulated, including thermal and sound insulation, resistant to rotting, rodents, insects, and they are fire proof, waterproof, weather resistant, and the walls breath so the rooms do not get stuffy. Hemp homes stay warm in the winter, and cool in the summer.

If hemp were legal in the United States, it would be the cheapest source of raw material for concrete-like foundations. Plus hemp hurds can be processed in existing wood mills without major changes to the equipment. Hemp-foundation homes are ecologically appropriate because they are inexpensive, and can be prepared on site using only a cement mixer, and the material would be cheap and abundant.

Hemp building material could allow us to replace the need for wood, bricks, and fiberglass insulation.

While my guitar gentley weeps

It is 1:47pm and I am currently waiting for Tj to wake up. We didn't go to sleep until the sun came up this morning, but I don't understand how people can sleep when it is bright outside. Not even if I tried could I do that! I woke up around noon, I guess my body only needs 5 hours of sleep.
We came across this really funny picture last night.
